# Problem using dry-view with rabl

I tried adding dry-view to a small app that was using [roda](https://github.com/jeremyevans/roda) and the render plugin to render Dry::Struct objects to JSON via [rabl](https://github.com/nesquena/rabl).

This did not work as expected, all the child nodes of the object were empty when rendering with Dry::View.

I managed to boil the problem down as much as possible [in this repo](https://github.com/rickenharp/rabl-dry-view), showing the difference between rendering directly with [tilt](https://github.com/rtomayko/tilt), and using dry-view.

Is there any way to successfully use rabl with dry-view?
